BHASKAR RAMAMURTHI IS THE ACCS-CDAC FOUNDATION AWARD WINNER FOR 2015

bhaskar-ramamurthiBANGALORE, 12 August 2015  —  ACCS, the Advanced Computing and Communications Society, today announced the name of Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras  as the winner of the prestigious ACCS-CDAC Foundation award for 2015.  The award recognizes his outstanding achievements in communications engineering, its impact on academic research in electrical engineering and his able stewardship in steering collaborative research between the industry and academia effectively.

The ACCS-CDAC Foundation Award carries a cash prize of Rs. 100,000/-, along with a citation and a plaque. This will be presented at the inaugural session of the annual Advanced Computing and Communications Conference (ADCOM 2015) at the IC&SR Center, located at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai on 19th September 2015.

The Award instituted in 2004, by the Advanced Computing and Communications Society (ACCS), fosters the development and dissemination of the theory and applications of Computing and Communication sciences. ACCS is a scientific society that provides a forum for individuals, institutions and industry to promote advanced computing and communication technologies.
