ADCOM 2014 - Call for Papers

Theme: Internet of Things

The Advanced Computing and Communications Society (ACCS) announces the 20th annual International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communications (ADCOM 2014) at Bangalore during 19th - 22nd September 2014.

ACCS, a partner society of the IEEE Computer Society, is a registered scientific society in India founded to provide a forum to individuals, institutions and industry to promote and disseminate their innovative and pioneering work in Computing and Communications Sciences.

ADCOM, the flagship Systems Conference of the ACCS, is a major annual international meeting that attracts professionals from industry, academia and governments across the world. ADCOM is a very successful and a highly rated event that draws leading scientists and researchers in computational engineering.

ADCOM 2014 provides a premium platform to share, discuss and witness leading edge research and trends in the development of the Internet of Things (IoT).

IoT is the new distributed computing paradigm wherein devices connect to the web or the Internet through wired or wireless radio network. IoT is an active area or research worldwide. It enables devices and physical things to become active participants in business, information and social process. This is enabled by exchange of data between things, objects and people and autonomous reaction to real or physical world events without direct human intervention. However there are significant challenges related to technology, regulatory and governance to be overcome before the community can realize the full potential for such a vision.

ADCOM 2014 will provide a cutting-edge platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in the systems, infrastructure, tools and applications for the IoT and future directions.

ADCOM 2014 Conference is seeking original, high impact research papers and case studies on all topics related to the development of the Internet of Things.

Champions and Thought leaders of the industry, government and academia will deliver keynote messages at this event and deliberate on technical and business matters related to but not limited to:

  • Novel sensor and actuation technology for IoT
  • Distributed computing and communication methods for IoT
  • IoT systems and architecture, includes power management and integration
  • IoT sensor signal processing, analytics methods
  • HCI for IoT
  • IoT and Big Data
  • Software frameworks and environment for IoT
