Abstract: This session talks about autonomic power management in High-Performance Computing System and advancement in modern hardware architecture in power perspective. The session also talks about a need for an autonomic and self-managed system for power management in HPC.

Sumit Kumar Saurav has over a decade experience in Research and Development in the area of real-time systems, distributed computing, and energy efficient System. Currently, he is working as a Scientist and Senior Technical Officer at C-DAC, Bangalore. His area of research includes Autonomic Computing, High-Performance Computing, and Machine Learning in general.
He holds a Masters in Software system from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani and a Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from P.D.A College of Engineering, Gulbarga. He is a member of IEEE and CSI.
