International Engineering Societies Call on Governments to Support the United Nation “Sustainable Energy for All” Initiative
We are delighted to share with you that we endorsed the attached statement to the United Nations Foundation on “Sustainable Energy for All”. This initiative was spear headed by the IEEE. We are proud to say that ACCS with other 41 societies world-wide with a combined membership of more than 2,000,000 have endorsed the UN Year of Sustainable Energy for All Initiative!
This week, the UN Foundation delegation attended Rio + 20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. Our joint endorsement has been highlighted on the UN Sustainable Energy for All website http://www.sustainableenergyforall.org/
