In this talk, Prof. Frank Dignum explores the role of socially conscious AI in ethical software development. Bio:
Dr. Frank Dignum is the Wallenberg Chair in Socially Aware AI at Umeå University, Sweden, and the director of TAIGA (Transdisciplinary AI for the Good of All). He is an honorary professor at the University of Melbourne. Known for his work on socially intelligent agents and norms, his research supports policy-making in areas such as COVID-19 restrictions, sustainable development, and disaster management.
