Beginning in August 2023 with quite many ideas received, ‘00s of engineering student’s engineering innovation journey progressed through different phases and filtering, with semifinals in Makers Village, Kochi, Kerala, during December 9-10, 2023, 12 teams from across India qualified for the finals, whose work is reviewed, evaluated and deliberated upon over 2 days to arrive at the awardees.

  1. Third placed Innovative team is from IIT Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, for the project: Digital Twin System for Health & Power Consumption Monitoring of Home Appliances
  2. Second placed innovation team is from PA Engineering College, Mangalore, Karnataka, for the project Wheel Chair Control Through Eye Blinking
  3. The First placed innovative team is from Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, for the project Development of a Spirometer for Pulmonary function analysis with Disease Classification System using Smartphone.

A two session Certificate Course ‘Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals’ is given as an integrated part of the event, thus enhancing the value to the participating teams. Personnel of Microsoft & Accenture delivered the practical tutorial, Messrs: Ashwini Kumar, Anshuman Singh, Gokul Pillai and Krishna Chaitanya.

Professor Chandrashekar Ramanathan, Dean Academics, IIITB, elevated the occasion with his involved participation, witnessing the demonstrations of award-winning projects, distributing the awards, interacting with the teams and inspiring the finalist teams & mentors with his visionary talk.

ACCS announced the next edition of ADC, ADC2024, stating that it shall be on similar timelines – August to March, with nominations to be accepted from April 2024.
