Dear All,
There is a developing situation in Karnataka on the matter of Cauvery water dispute with the neighboring state. As such, a Bandh in Karnataka has been called for 9th September, Friday (which is the day 2 of ADCOM).
We expect a total shutdown in the areas near the conference venue. All ADCOM sessions scheduled for 9th (Friday) are being reworked for 10th (Saturday).
The revised schedule will posted on the conference web site by this afternoon. I am sure this will inconvenience many of you. We request you to bear with us and support us in this extraordinary circumstance.
Again, there will be no sessions on 9th September. The updated program will be posted on line at http://accsindia.org/adcom2016/.
There will be NO change to the ARM Design Challenge meetings on 10th and 11th September.
Thank you for your understanding and look forward to your support.
Regards,
Uma Mahesh
Secretary, ACCS
About ADCOM 2016
ADCOM 2016 highlights the growing importance of Large Scale Systems Engineering and provides the platform to share, discuss and witness leading edge research and trends. The theme of this year’s meeting is on Machine Learning (ML). ML has enabled cognitive systems to learn, reason and engage with us in a more natural and personalized way. This rapidly developing field of representation learning is concerned with questions surrounding on how best we can learn meaningful and useful representations of data. Consequently, performance of machine learning methods is heavily dependent on the choice of data representation on which they are applied. ML applications will lead to new breakthroughs that will amplify our abilities in taking correct timely decisions and help us solve many seemingly unsolvable problems with innovative algorithms and techniques.
ADCOM 2016 seeks researchers, engineers and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in Machine Learning and debate recent status of the research and direct further developments.
