Title: Lessons from the ARM architecture
Abstract: The talk delves into the history and evolution of the ARM architecture with the mention of some of the key points of the architecture. Some examples of ARM implementations are presented and finally touches upon the lessons learnt from the journey of the architecture evolution.
Bio:
Manjunath K Bogadi is a Principal Engineer at ARM, Bengaluru and performing the role of a senior technical lead in the Architecture Compliance team.
He has a Master’s degree in Electronics and over 20 years of experience verifying microprocessors. He has worked at companies like HAL Computer Systems, Fujitsu, ATI Technologies, Vivace Networks, Sun Microsystems and AMD prior to joining ARM in 2010.
